Pirkanmaan Festivaalit

Lost In Music is a city festival, held annually in October in Tampere. Almost hundred artists perform in the cardinal venues of Tampere during four nights. The shows are attended by nearly 10 000 musical consumers, music professionals and media workers. The aim of Lost In Music is to showcase a cornucopia of  new and rising pop-, rock-, indie and metal bands, hiphop and world music – not forgeting the more experimental side. In addition to the domestic rising stars, the festival is an arena for numerous international performers from Russia, Baltic countries, Sweden, Denmark, United States and Great-Britain. Lost In Music is a unique live happenging in Finland  -  such a setting of contemporary music isn’t in offer elsewhere. The event also offers specialty concerts, such as the Einstürzende Neubauten 30th anniversary concert in 2010 – seen only in 15 locations worldwide.

The festival is held by Lost In Music Oy, owned by Music & Media Finland. Lost In Music is a part of Music & Media event, a leading Finnish music professional event, gathering over 600 domestic and 100 international music and media professionals. Music & Media consists of seminars, Industry Award Gala and city festival Lost In Music.
