Tapsan Tahdit takes place in Nokia on the last weekend of July, this time with significant differences! The new venues of Kuorimo and Tahtiranta and a diverse programme of top Finnish musicians will guarantee enjoyment in this summery lakeside setting. The venues are only about 800 metres apart.

The Iskelmä Finlandia Award Gala will take place in the old atmospheric factory of Kuorimo, and will also be broadcast live on YLE TV 2. This year, Danny, Mariska, Markku Aro, Meiju Suvas and Pepe Willberg have been nominated for an award of €10,000, offered by the City of Nokia. The winner will be chosen by Arto Alaspää. Danny and Anna Eriksson will set the mood for the Friday Night Jam in Kuorimo.

The Tahtiranta venue will be constructed next to Spa Hotel Eden, near the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The outdoor arena is designed for about 5,000 visitors, and the stage will feature performances by artists such as Kaija Koo, Riki Sorsa, Yö, Veeti, Samuli Putro, Irina, and the Riku Niemi Orchestra & Jorma Kääriäinen.

The audience in Tahtiranta can also enjoy a large, partly covered fully-licensed area and a 200 m² dance floor. Festival visitors can also use the services of Spa Hotel Eden. On Sunday, Tahtiranta will be transformed into a picnic park for families and young people. The Perhepiknik (Family Picnic) event will feature Puhuva Kone and Fintelligens on stage. The area will also host activity for children of all ages.
